ABSTRACT |
The neurilemmoma is an encapsulated benign tumor
derived from cranial and peripheral nerves or nerve roots. These tumors most often occur in the head and neck, especially the acoustic nerve. But neurilemmoma of the extenal auditory canal is
extremely rare. Recently, we experienced nuerilemmoma of the external auditory canal in a 25 year old male who had
surgical removal with good operation result and diagnosed as neurilemmoma.
