ABSTRACT

Pleomorphic adenoma of accessory parotid gland is rare and may present as mass of midanterior cheek. A mass in the soft tissues of the mid-anterior cheek has many diagnostic possibilities. Although the spectrum of diagnostic possibilities includes a salivary tumor arising in accessory parotid tissue, this entity may be overlooked because such lesion are quite uncommon. We experienced a case of pleomorphic adenoma arising from accessory parotid gland, manifestated with mid-anterior cheek mass in a 38-year old female patient. We report this with literature review.
