ABSTRACT |
Granular cell tumor of the larynx is uncommon benign tumor, especially in children. Less than 19 cases under age of sixteen have been reported in the literature. This paper presents a thirteen-year-old girl with hoarseness due to a tumor at the left anterior vocal fold. The tumor was removed endoscopically with laser and confirmative diagnosis was made histopathologically and supported by immunohistochemical staining using S-100. Clinical, histopathologic and therapeutic considerations are discussed with a brief review of the literature.
