Relapsing polychondritis is a rare disease characterized by recurring episodes of inflammation of the cartilagenous structures of the body. Commonly involved organs include the external ear, nose, joints, eyes, tracheobronchial tree, and cardiovascular system. This disease is an immune disorder probably causes by the production of autoantibodies to mucopolysaccharides. We experienced a case of relapsing polychondritis in a 15 year old girl with auricular chondritis, arthropathies, nasal chondritis and laryngeal chondritis. The latter produced airway obstruction was managed by tracheostomy. We report this case with a review of the literature.
