But these were the consideration on the healthy persons, including those who didn't complain the subjective signs in most of them. In fact, we can observe some case who do not complain their subjective signs even if severe deformities of the nasel septum were found rhinoscopically, while, on the contrary, there are another cases who complain the severe subjective signs even if no severe deformities of the nasal septum were found. The author had observed and figured out their clinical statistics as well as their important significanse shaving clinical influences out of 2,117 cases of the deformities of the nasal septum complaining the subjective signs. The following results were found. 1) The cases of the deformities of the nasal septum were found mostly in young adult 77.89% of them were those ranging from 17 to 26 years of age, most of them were male. 2) The deformities of the nasal septum were found more frequently on the left side than on the right side by the ratio of 2 to 1. 3) In the types of the deformities deviation were found times more then crista, and spina was the less. 4) Case of combined deformities were 7.68% among all of the deformities cases the crista or the spina combined with deviation were found 3 times more frequently on the convex side of the deviation than those in the concave side. 5) Among the case of the deformities of the nasal septum, 45.88% were those combined with hypertrophic rhinitis, and the next with paranasal sinusitis and the last with atrophic rhinitis in there relative order of frequency. 6) Hypertrophic rhinitis were more frequently on the concave side of the deformities in over twice more than convex side, but on the contrary the paranasal sinusitis and atrophic rhinitis were in the convex side twice more than concave side in frequency. 7) The complaints of the case combined with no other nasal diseases were mostly nasal stuffiness, and Headache.
