| ABSTRACT |
|
A case of polypous hemangioma occurred in the nasal cavity was seen at the Department of Otolaryngology, Presbyterian Hospital of Taegu. A review of recent literature related to this case was presented. It has been known that a hemangioma rarely occurs in the nasal cavity, and even rarer is such a case of nasal hemangioma originating from the anterior cavity. The present case was that of a 45 year-old Korean man who had a polypous hemangioma in the left lateral wall of the anterior cavity, which resembled a melanoma clinically and causes complety nasal obstruction in the affected side. The tumor was completely removed through a Weber-Ferguson's incision. The postoperative course was uneventful 2 months after the operation.
