A 9 years old Korean boy was seen with the complaints of dysphagia, fever malaise and discomfort and visited at this hospital on the 28th of April, 1969. The symptoms had begun worse from 20 days prior to this visit. The clinical findings revealed foul ordered necrotizing ulcerations on the soft palate extending to the uvula, and irregularly ulcerated lesions on the face, lip, thumb of the right hand and the anterior aspect of the left nasal septum. On X-ray examination of the skull, paranasal sinuses and the chest there was no positive finding. Pathological finding from the lesions of the soft palate and the thumb of the right hand was no definite evidence to rule out midline granuloma. Under the diagnosis of Wegener's granulomatosis in connection with the clinical symptoms the treatment had been instituted by means of broad spectrum antibiotics for the secondary infection, steroids and X-ray deep therapy. As a result of the therapy established the patient could be discharged with subsidence of the dysphagia and generalized ulcerations on the 10th of May, 1969.
