Bacterial Allergy in E.N.T. Fields

ABSTRACT

Among the various menifestations of allergy, bronchial asthma was the first to be recongnized as a definite clinical entity. Thereafter many observers reported various allergic conditions. Within the past 40 years the clinical management of allergy and new allergen preparations were developed very rapidly. In the E.N.T. field there are many allergic diseases. But the allergic conditions, not only in E.N.T. diseases but also in all allergic diseases have deep ralation to bacterial infection. In the viewpoint, we have cultured from the nasal discharge of the 150 allergic rhinitis patients. The bacteriological analysis is quite fit on to the imported catarrhal vaccine from Sweden. Catarrhal vaccine was tested by 0.1 cc of 1 : 10 dilution intradermally and read after 24 hours.
