The pathogenesis of sinobronchiectasis is still uncertain. The authors recently experienced 3 cases of typical sinobronchiectasis.

Case 1 : A 25 year old male patient was admitted due to headache, nasal obstruction, nasal discharge, posterior nasal dripping, productive cough and mild dyspnea. He had been done left lower lobectomy at dept. of chest surgery due to bronchiectasis 2 months ago without improvement of symptoms. Nasal finding, P.N.S. X-ray and maxillary antral irrigation revealed bilateral chronic suppurative maxillary sinusitis and chest P-A view revealed bronchiectasis. The Caldwell-Luc's operation was performed with improvement of patient's symptoms.

Case 2 : A 47 year old male patient had been suffered from nasal obstruction, purulent nasal discharge, posterior nasal dripping and productive cough. He had been medicated for chronic bronchitis and bronchiectasis for previous 7 years without improvement. This case was also diagnosed sinobronchiectasis after checking local finding, P.N.S. X-ray, antral washing & chest X-ray and above symptoms disappeared after bilateral Caldwell-Luc's operation.

Case 3 : A 42 year old male patient was admitted due to nasal obstruction, mucopurulent nasal discharge, posterior nasal dripping, productive cough and intermittent paroxysmal respiratory difficulty. He had been medicated for bronchial asthma and bronchiectasis for previous 6 years without improvement of above symptoms. This case was also performed bilateral Caldwell-Luc's operation under diagnosis of sinobronchiectasis after several examinations and patient's symptoms were not recurred till now.
