A Case of Kartagener's Syndrome

ABSTRACT

Kartagener's syndrome is a clinical entity comprising a combination of situs inversus, bronchiectasis, and sinusitis or nasal polyposis. This syndrome is rare and is usually seen in a young age group. Recently, the author experienced in a 24 years old female who had got typical findings of Kartagener's syndrome. This patient was performed bilateral Caldwell-Luc's operation. And pulmonary lobectomy was performed in the Chest Surgery department. The patient was discharged with good results.
