ABSTRACT |
A case of post-traumatic arteriovenous fistula involving the superficial temporal artery was experienced. Four weeks after the traumatic episode, pulsatile tinnitus and temporal headache were developed. Physical examination revealed a pulsatile mass with palpable thrill and audible bruit in the right temporal region. This lesion, which was confirmed by selective angiograph, was treated by percutaneous embolization with resultant disappearance of tinnitus.
