ABSTRACT

In recent years, the rehabilitation of individuals with speech, language, and hearing disorders has become an important concern of the Korean people. Many of the individuals in need of rehabilitation have hearing losses that interfere with successful communication. The early years of life, infancy through four years, are especially important for the development of speech and language skills. It individuals with communication problems are not identified early, then rehabilitation becomes more difficult. Two hundred and fourty four patients were seen in the Speech and Hearing Clinic for the period September, 1971 through March, 1975.
